Java & Jams is a coffeehouse, located at 321 N. 20th Street, in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. But we are much more than a coffeehouse. True, we serve only the finest organic, Fair Trade Coffee, roasted right here in Birmingham by Higher Ground Roaster…and we do Lattes, Mochas, Chais, etc. just like every other coffeehouse (only better). But our logo says "Your Neighborhood Place for Great Coffee and Music". Java & Jams is home of the finest in live acoustic music on Friday and Saturday nights featuring the best in local and regional talents. One of our bedrock beliefs is using local suppliers when ever possible. If we can find a local source of the same or better quality, we will use them 100% of the time. We take great pride in providing a place for local musicians to perform and local artists to display their work. We have the work of a local artist hanging on our walls for your viewing pleasure or for purchase. We are quickly gaining a reputation for the quality of our sandwiches.
